The "lost-wax" process

To confirm the absolute uniqueness of a DURABO watch, it is not necessary to go far. It is sufficient to say that its body, with its silver 925 case and a double valve, is the result of a "lost-wax" process.

This has been obtained by casting molten silver in a plaster cast derived from a wax model, a method used by the most important Masters of Renaissance and by Benvenuto Cellini for his master pieces.

The finishing touches, including the silver "tongue" buckle, are handmade by Italian silver artisans and this explains why each piece is slightly different from the others. Thus the look of a DURABO watch is as unique as the man wearing it!

However, the mechanical heart of the watch, from the best tradition of Swiss watch masters, is a ETA-Valjoux 7750 and 7751 with appropriate modifications and personalizations.

"Quick silver" reflections

It is a little alchemical invention of DURABO. Obtained using a particular treatment in order to enrich the pure silver of lightning tones with intense moon reflections; it is the "quick silver" that you will put on by choosing DURABO!
